Ella Duffy
is the author of Greencombe (Hazel Press, 2024), New Hunger (The Poetry Business, 2020) and Rootstalk (Hazel Press, 2020), which was longlisted as a Poetry School Book of the Year 2020. Rock, Paper, Scissors, her collaborative pamphlet with Adam Horovitz (Dialect Press), was chosen as the Poetry Book Society’s summer pamphlet choice.
Her work has appeared in The Poetry Review, The London Magazine, The Rialto, Ambit and Poetry Ireland Review, among others. She is the editor of botanical poetry anthology, Seeds & Roots (Hazel Press, 2022), and has been a guest editor for Butcher’s Dog and Magma. Ella obtained her PhD in Creative Writing from King’s College London in 2026.
Her debut poetry collection, Glimmer & Ground, will be published by Bloodaxe in September 2027.
